Better wear a bib!
Ingredients:
2 sticks butter
13 c vegetable oil
3 tbs minced garlic
3 tbs lemon
3 tbs basil
2 tbs paprika
2 tbs dried rosemary crushed
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp cayenne pepper
¼ c chopped green onion
¼ c chopped parsley
2 lbs large raw fresh shrimp in shell with or without head on.
Directions:
- In large skillet over medium heat, melt butter add oil and stir well.
- Add the next 9 ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes, then add shrimp and coat with the sauce thoroughly.
- Cook for 6 to 8 minutes until shrimp turns pink.
- Remove shrimp from heat and plate with the sauce poured over.
- Garnish with green onions and parsley, lemon wedges.
- Grab your napkins, bib and a loaf of crusty French bread to dip.
Tip: This dish can be served over your favorite pasta or side of pasta.
