Big Easy Bread Pudding

Better wear a bib!

Ingredients:

2 sticks butter
13 c vegetable oil
3 tbs minced garlic
3 tbs lemon
3 tbs basil
2 tbs paprika
2 tbs dried rosemary crushed
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp cayenne pepper
¼ c chopped green onion
¼ c chopped parsley
2 lbs large raw fresh shrimp in shell with or without head on.

Directions:

  1. In large skillet over medium heat, melt butter add oil and stir well.
  2. Add the next 9 ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes, then add shrimp and coat with the sauce thoroughly.
  3. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes until shrimp turns pink.
  4. Remove shrimp from heat and plate with the sauce poured over.
  5. Garnish with green onions and parsley, lemon wedges.
  6. Grab your napkins, bib and a loaf of crusty French bread to dip.
    Tip: This dish can be served over your favorite pasta or side of pasta.
